RXR Glen Isle Partners LLC were successful in responding to a RFP for a 50-acre commercial development changed to residential mixed use. The project is 1 of the first 16 USEPA national showcase Brownfield clean up site.

The site was an on-going eye sore for decades from industrial pollution and general decline. This created major economic and environmental blight on Glen Coves waterfront. Many stakeholders that made significant investments in the cleanup and infrastructure goals were becoming concerned about the project viability. The success of the project was hampered by the low re-development value of the proposed site plan.

RXR Glen Isle Partners LLC proved the viability of a mixed use development that was embraced by investors. Teaming with the City of Glen Cove to solicit planning and other economic funding methods along with other consultants to structure all-star team of sustainable mixed use design including, models, renderings, field office and more.
