Replacement of the Shore Parkway Bridges
New York City Department of Transportation Replacement of the Shore Parkway Bridges over Paerdegat Basin, Rockaway Parkway and Fresh Creek - On 10/26/09 Posillico Civil with its joint venture partner Tully Construction formally broke ground on a major reconstruction project on the Belt Parkway in the eastern portion of Brooklyn, NY. The $364 million contract will involve the re-construction of 3 marine bridges, removal and replacement of 2.5 miles of roadway, improvements to storm water drainage, traffic safety devices and overall improvement of grade and site distance to reduce hazards for the traveling public.
